Training Options
There are two options for people who are interested in earning their CPR & First Aid certification: blended learning courses and a traditional classroom course.
Please note that online only is NOT accepted by any regulatory agency or governing body. Do NOT waste your money on 'ONLINE CPR & FIRST AID TRAINING.' There is a reason it is so inexpensive. Dont be fooled by their claims of online being approved.
Bottom Line: You MUST demonstrate hands-on skill proficiency to earn a valid certification.
Blended CPR & First Aid courses offer a combination of online learning and in-person hands on skills practice. The blended learning course provides flexibility and convenience for individuals and employers because the online portion of the coursework is self-paced. You can sign up for the blended option by selecting Skill Assessment, schedule here. (Blended Option not available for CPR BLS)
Traditional, instructor-led classes are great if you want to complete the training in one sitting. CPR & First Aid Classes typically last for 2 to 4 hours, depending on your certification. CPR BLS training is only available by attending an in person class. Attend one of our Community Classes for a traditional in person training. You can see the class schedule and availability here.
Both traditional classroom courses and blended learning programs provide a valid 2-year certification upon completion of the program.
Regardless of which training option you choose, the most important aspect of learning CPR is the hands on training and assessment under the watchful eye of a certified CPR instructor. You must pass a hands on skill assessment in order to receive a valid certification.
