What is a Skill Assessment?A Skill Assessment is a Hybrid/ Blended CPR/ AED & First Aid Training Course; Online Coursework (Part 1) & In Person Hands On Skills Assessment (Part 2). These are for individuals that are looking for an online or blended style training. AERT Hybrid/Blended CPR & First Aid courses offer a combination of online learning and in-person hands on skills practice. This blended learning course provides flexibility and convenience for individuals and employers because the online portion of the coursework is self-paced. Online coursework (Part 1) is completed independently prior to the in-person hands on Skill Assessment portion (Part 2). You must pass a hands on skill assessment in order to receive a valid certification. This option is currently only offered for CPR/AED & First Aid, NOT for CPR BLS/ Healthcare Provider. You can learn a little more about our skill assessments by going to the sign up page of any of the skill assessments to read the course details.
